what's happenin'?

so, it's already been 2 or so weeks from my last post... been kinda lazy and also kinda busy (how does that happen?) anyways, here are a few highlights: hung out with D "the catfish" T, we hung out in cafes, the city, and even played a little poker. introduced NaYo to poker and also the golf range in A-town. had an anniversary, my 8th year, with angie. went to San Diego to celebrate and visited SD Zoo, Wild Animal Park, stopped in LA and met with angie's korean friends. had coffee with E in the SF office, she was visiting on a short biz trip. My dad gave me a aquarium full of fishies and froggies that his ex-tenant left behind, I took it home and all but one fish died... he now lives in the tank all by himself, we have named the lucky fishy, "survivor". today I invested $200 in the Rosetta Stone Language Learning software program in hopes to improve and learn more Castillian Spanish. I've also been reading a book called, "Positively Fifth Street", which is about Jim McManus' experience of covering the Binion trial in LV and doing a story on women poker players all while playing in the 2000 WSOP... good stuff, almost done reading it. So there you go, that was my last 2 weeks in one short paragraph.

I've starting using the Spanish program already, it's pretty cool. It's like playing a video game, albeit an "educational" game, of sorts. I only hope that I have the discipline to use it regulary. I am so bad at that. But hopefully since it's a SW program that I can do "at my leisure" I'll be more into it. we'll see. That's it for now... back to my lessons! Adios!
